Catching Up on some TV

The past few weeks have been pretty hectic and I'm behind on quite a few on my favorite tv shows so I tried to catch up a bit last night.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

This show is always fun and this episode wasn't a disappointment. That Text Was Not Meant for Josh! was typical and I sure hope this gets picked up for a second season. The stories are always interesting and the characters are easily relatable, though sometimes the events are a bit cringeworthy. It's a bit like Flight of the Conchords which I loved as well and it definitely fills my desire for a weekly musical number.

Venture Brothers

Did we finally get a hint about the relationship between Dr. Venture and The Monarch? The fact that people are starting to mistake them for each other and we saw video footage of The Monarch's dad and Jonas Venture Sr. makes me start to wonder about how close the families were. As usual, this show packs so much into such a short timeframe I have to watch it multiple times.
