First Big Bad

Getting to level 4 saw a few more involved battles. Rocket continues to be fun and with Groot as his protector, I haven't had any troubles getting low on hit points. The Hydra agents that populate the Raft are pretty much pushovers but there are a bunch of them. Groot kept them off me and between him and my turrets, they went down quickly.

Living Laser is the first big bad you encounter in the Raft. He's got a bunch of hit points and shoots a laser across the room that will hit you. For anyone who's played League of Legends, it's kinda like Vel'Koz' ultimate but moves slower and does less damage. With Groot taking the aggro, I was able to burn him down with my turrets and my M78 Plasma Launcher.

So far, getting a level each day hasn't been too difficult, but then I've not had a lot of work to put in for these early levels.

Fantasy Football Champ

On a secondary note, I managed to win the fantasy football league I was in. I ended 10-4 and won both rounds of the playoffs. To be honest, I am surprised I did so well since I really didn't watch much NFL this year. Perhaps that's the way to play – don't pick your favorite players since you don't have any. In any case, I was pretty excited to have won.
