Fantasy Football 2015 Week 1

A small post today about my first week in Fantasy Football for 2015. I scored pretty well, but still got crushed by about 20 points.

One interesting thing to note, however is the fact that my opponent didn't play a kicker. This sparked a pretty big controversy in the league because it was stated during the draft that each team had to have a player for each starting slot. They didn't have to be playing that week (if they had a bye), but each position had to be filled – QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, TE, Defense, Kicker, and a flex. With this rule, I actually win by forfeit, but we'll see how things play out. I'm not so heavily invested in the league that I'm gonna fight for my 'win', but I really hate people who ignore the rules. I suppose he probably was not paying attention or did not log in to update his team, but he still kicked my butt.

The bottom line is I may be 1-0 or I may be 0-1. Whatever…I didn't even really pay attention to the NFL this week until Sunday night when I checked my score. I had already lost and the other team had 2 players playing on Monday. There is always next week.
