I took a look around the web and found somewhat of a consensus for city design for town hall 6, so I put one in place.

From what I saw, the main idea is to put at l at least 2 walls between the enemy and your town hall. The suggestion is also to put resource producing buildings outside the walls so they can soak up damage since they do not give up any resources during a clan war.

I still have a bit to go with my walls – I just bought the grey ones that aren't raised up to the gold level yet, but I'm working on getting the gold to upgrade them. I hope to have them built up by the time our next war begins this weekend.

On the offensive side, the town I attacked was not set up very well, and considering it was only level 3, I was able to handle it pretty easily.

While my attack went well, even with my revamped city, I was no match for the dragons that a level 7 sent my way. Right now my focus is to build up my walls and defense so hopefully I can get above the last place town in my clan wars.
