Angels, Demons, and Ashe
“I would’ve thought all produce organic by definition.”
The first episode of Sleepy Hollow in 2015 is kinda a mixed bag. Following directly after the previous episode chronologically, we enter a situation where the main bad guy of the show was just killed in the last episode. So what are we gonna see during the rest of the season?
Angels and demons. Hmm…seems like we’ve stepped into an episode of Supernatural or Buffy. But I’m not so sure about Orion the Angel – even he mentioned that he left the Heavenly Host and was stuck in Purgatory. But then he and a whole bunch of baddies got released when Henry killed Moloch. Could this be leading to a “bad guy of the week” series of episodes?
In any case, Orion wants to kill the Horseman but once Katrina learns of that, she releases Abraham which leads to a fight in which we see Ichabad save the Horseman the two chase off the Angel. The fight was cool and we got to see disintegrating demons and a neat circular boomerang, but who is gonna be the bad guy now? Katrina wants to save Abraham, Orion flew off, and with Henry and Moloch gone, there is no one to fight.
We’re left with more questions for the rest of the season…and then Orlando Jones is back.
I’d give the episode a C+ for effort, but wanted something more from the second half opener. In my view, they still haven’t regained the momentum from the first season, but I still enjoy the show. I just hope they find what has been missing before they get canceled.
4th Game as My Baby Summoner
I played as Ashe again as a level 3 summoner, still fighting bots.
I went 7-1 with 8 assists and feel pretty good about Ashe. I went over 21 minutes without dying and felt so sure of myself that I chased MF into the jungle and gave Trundle Bot his only kill. While doing better and feeling good with her, I still need to learn my limitations. Continued experience with Ashe will help and I need to respect my opponents more, even if they are just bots.
I am hoping my new recording mechanism works with team builder games because I’ll be graduating to those soon and would like to be able to analyze my games more. Watching my recorded games really helps to find where my mistakes are and while problems are pretty apparent during the Bot games, I want to start playing against real competition.
