Simcha has inspired me to read more…Bout of Books

Since I have been enjoying Blaugust and keeping up with it, I figured I would give another challenge a shot.

Inspired by Simcha over at Simcha's Many Lives!, I decided to give Bout of Books a try. Bout of Books is a read-a-thon that is best described by them…

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 18th and runs through Sunday, August 24th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. I'm gonna give this a shot and hopefully get through my book club reading this week. If I get through that, I've been meaning to reread some Asimov, but I don't want to be too ambitious.

The book I'll be reading is Deadly Curiosities by Gail Z. Martin, published by Solaris, June 24,2014. The 464 pages are split into 29 chapters so I'll be shooting to read about 67 pages a day or a bit over 4 chapters.
