The Many Dimensions of The Secret World

There is a new blog post today over at thesecretworld.com that explains their single server technology and how it will effect your time in game. The bottom line is that you will be able to play with anyone in game. There is no server distinction when forming groups, cabals, or running in pvp, everyone is essentially on one big server. A dimension is basically your home field where you play when soloing but, you can join up with friends and family from around the world and the technology will accommodate you regardless of what dimension they belong to. If you know someone playing the game, you can team up without worrying about having to be on their sever as in WoW or SWTor. This, along with the classless system will be a welcome change – I won’t be rolling a ton of alts like I usually do.
